Objective:
To evolve a disease that eventually
spreads and kills the entire human race.
Player Actions:
The player is first given a choice
of play mode. Realistic offers the full experience but requires more time and
strategy than relaxed mode. Relaxed mode is a limited version but takes a
shorter amount of time to play and there is less strategy involved.
Next the player is given a choice
of three different classes of diseases – virus, bacteria, or parasite. Each
class has its benefits and drawbacks. The choice of class can affect the
difficulty of the game and the strategy of the player.
After given your disease a name it
is randomly placed in a place in the world. From here the player most try to
spread the disease to the rest of the world.
The player is awarded evolution
points that can be spend on upgrades such as symptoms, resistance, transmission
and traits. The player is awarded evolution points over time as well as for
increasing the number of infected and eventual deaths.
Win and lose conditions
The player will win the game if he
or she manages to infect the world and kill the entire human population. A high
score is calculated based on different variables such as the amount of time
spent.
The player will lose the game if
the world manages to develop and deploy a vaccine that may render the disease
useless. The player will also lose the game if a country that has not been
infected closes down it’s borders and all of it’s transportation in and out the
country.
Premise
The game is set in July 2008 and
takes place on a map over the world. The narrative is seen from the perspective
of the disease that is waiting to take over.

various websites. The game doesn’t have any foul or sexual language or
violence, but does involve the virtual killing of millions. It has been
