Fruit Ninja: Part 2

Although the mechanics of the game may be clear to some players, it should be easier for other players to find this information. Having to go through two different menus seems odd. Most other games have a convenient button question mark button at the top or bottom of the screen that quickly explains the mechanics of the game.
Despite this small inconvenience the game itself doesn’t lack much. The Classic Mode provides many hours of addicting game play as you quickly improve your scores when first starting. Soon you’ll be fighting for every fruit to get over your highest top score. Once the Classic Mode is starting get boring there are luckily three other modes that you can play through and post new high scores. While following the main principles of the Classic Mode, they are different enough to make it feel fresh and not repetitive.
The game also allows players to customize their game play by choosing a different blade, which have effects such as colors or sparkles, as well as backgrounds for the games. These can for the most part only be obtained through achievements such as “Slice 50 strawberries in Classic Mode” or “Slice 5 Watermelons in a row”. The achievements allow players to aim for other goals rather than just going for a higher score each time. This keeps the game fresh and new, for the most part.

Even though you are likely to play the game every day for a month when you first buy it, the game does start to lose its initial enjoyment. At a certain point you start hitting a plateau of top scores and it find it hard to improve from here. Once you have played 20 games in a row trying to beat your high score you become frustrated rather than inspired to do better.
